Eurovision Young Musicians 2016

Eurovision Young Musicians 2016 will take place on the 3rd September 2016 in Cologne Cathedral in Cologne, Germany. It is the third time Germany have hosted EYM, and the 7th time Germany have hosted a Eurovision event. It will be the 18th edition of EYM.

San Marino make their debut, while Greece, Moldova, Portugal and The Netherlands have withdrawn. The semi-finals have now been dropped meaning all 11 countries will participate in the final.

Hungary have apparently withdrawn, so there will now be only 10 participating nations.

Thanks, youngmusicians.tv had it wrong!

It was a great show, thought the interval acts were brilliant as well. Getting comments from the judges, similar to in EYD was a good addition this year. Congratulations to the winning country...

I was cheering for Czech Republic in the end but it seems he's got quite a big ego. Even despite that he was gr8, comparing to others.
The only thing that was bothering me through the whole show was a female host. And sayings à la "it's impossible to play Horowitz" *cringe*
I invite her to his homeland, to the contest named in his honour :twisted:

I received a lot of pleasure from the contest I liked the interval acts. Well, the winner... he was in my top-5 but I had a different top-3 in mind (Czech Republic, Norway, Malta).
