:ua: PBC has just revealed that back-up performances will stay.

Our back-up video should be ready until March 20.

Yes, ESCXtra at least has an article stating that. I'm sure there are others or will soon be others, but ESCXtra is what came up first. Also, it is backed up by this page by the Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne, the Ukrainian public broadcaster involved in Eurovision. Original is in Ukrainian, but once you Google Translate it is clear enough what it says.

As @Lance Esgard has said^, the source is our broadcaster.
The date for live-on-tape deadline is almost identical to our 2021 one.

ps. Suspilne = PBC. Suspilne means "public" (adjective) in Ukrainian.

37-39 probably but I would love to see Armenia coming back (after Montenegro's return got announced) + Kazakhstan's debut (EBU, it's about time!). 40+ would be great!
