Hi, was bored obviously so I decided to count ESC 2019 if each juror and televoting ranking was giving points.

So being 26th and 25th give 1 point, 24th 2 points, 23rd 3points, 22nd 4points ...and so on till 3rd 23points, 2nd 25points and 1st 27points

I decided to give 26th and 25th 1point as well as keeping the ESC thing when the 2nd receive 2more points than the 3rd place and same for the 1st.

Here's the full ranking

:1: The Netherlands 1638 (=)
:2: Italy 1600 points (=)
:3: Switzerland 1473 points (+1)
:4: Russia 1407 points (-1)
:5: Azerbaidjan 1397 points (+3)
:6: Sweden 1392 points (-1)
:7: Australia 1353 points (+2)
:8: Norway 1321 points (-2)
9th : North Macedonia 1308 points (-2)
:10: Iceland 1145 points (=)
11th : Czech Republic 1058 points (=)
12th : France 1042 points (+4)
13th : Denmark 1020 points (-1)
14th : Malta 928 points (=)
15th : Estonia 899 points (+5)
16th : Slovenia 889 points (-1)
17th : Cyprus 852 points (-6)
18th : Spain 784 points (+4)
19th : Serbia 751 points (-1)
20th : Albania 669 points (-3)
21st : Belarus 626 points (+3)
22nd : San Marino 625 points (-3)
23rd : Israel 588 points (=)
24th : Greece 532 points (-3)
25th : Germany 479 points (=)
26th : United Kingdom 468 points (=)

As you can see the full ranking is way different for some countries. Countries like France or Estonia are often between 11th - 15th, so in the regular contest they don't get any points. Countries like Norway loses ranks besides being 1st in the televoting, due to being very polarizing, when they get points they get high marks but they're also often between 21st-26th rank and Norway also suffers from countries like France or Estonia that are often in the middle or Azerbaijan is good example too with their +3 places, having way more points with this system.

That was me being bored.

This system looks fair to me. It is clear how diaspora life gets sucked out of some songs, and others improve through there mid table ranks. But eurovision is about douze points. The fairer system would kill the excitement and add to fatigue.

Actually some countries get undeserved points, not in "they don't deserve it" but you know Greece and Cyprus things like that. Greece was having the same points as Germany and the UK, thanks to some diaspora they could get a few more points, same for Serbia, the reality is more towards Belarus's points than their actual rank. And Russia, well you're ESC fans you already know the stuff. Russia's real place would be under Australia if you take out all the neighboor country love.
