It's just my experience, as I calculated so much. :) The highest result you can reach for one country is 12,24 (26,1,1,1,26). I can't tell you an exact avg number, where the jury votes become too random, but I think it's about 7-8.
Well, i calculated the number if the 5 jurors placed all entries in completely reverse order of one another (so: 1-26, 26-1, 1-26, 26-1, 1-26) and the number i get then is 6.37. Though I'm sure this is not the highest deviation you could get. For instance placing them like 1-26, 26-1, 1-26, 26-1, 2 4 6..22 24 26 25 23 .. 5 3 1 would yield 6.81.

12,24 is just for one country's average. The final average can reach 8: Jury A: 1->26, Jury B: 5->4 (5,6,7,8...25,26,1,2,3,4), Jury C: 11->10, Jury D: 21->20, Jury E: 24->23 - I got 7,98 as a final average. Yeah, I think that would be too random. :)

Ok, made some simulations with randomized jury voting. The average deviation i get is 6.46, with a maximum seen of 7.25 and a minimum of 4.64 over 10000000 times randomly filling 5 cards.

So ehm, yeah, I would not rate those in Group 1 as "YES! You are the right juries for this show!" ;)

I like these juries, who has different taste of music. I think even Macedonia didn't reach too high result, but if they did, is it bigger problem than the ridiculous Azerbaijan-Montenegro-Belarus jury trio? I say no... I didn't say that it's an evident and perfect method. :) If you consider Group 1 too high, that's your opinion, and I understood why did you say that. ;) It's just a calculation, which I worked hours, and I wanted to show you.

Thanks for showing, it's pretty interesting. :)

Surely the bottom group is the worst. Some diversity is of course welcome, but so much so that it is almost random makes the top grouped juries obsolete (as gustav pointed out earlier)... well, anyway, that is indeed my opinion. ;)

They is clearly some cheating but aslo clearly some bad influence.

How can all the french jury put Iceland at number 2 ? They have no special reason to go all for the country or song but obviously they were all in the same room and some influenced others in the liking of the song. Juries members should be voting on an Ipad or something after each song before discussing them !
