There is one song that got a lot of support, more than expected, which makes me consider that maybe a second phase is not needed. Tomorrow I will let you know my decision. In the meanwhile, if someone is still interested in voting here, I'll gladly accept their votes.

I've decided there won't be a 2nd phase for these reasons:
1. There seems to be a clear favourite.
2. It's been hard to get 8 people to vote, so I don't think many people would vote in the 2nd phase anyway. This rather low participation doesn't make me feel optimist about the chances of the song, but I think I will take the risk.

For WV124 I'm sending a band with a song that doesn't help me much right now, but I love it. I don't think I'll make promotion of it because these days I'm not in the mood, but I hope you find it at least interesting enough to vote for it. Hopefully my switch to Colombia will make me feel better, but tbh I'm very tired of many things. I don't need dramas, I don't need insults, I don't need controversy. I want to be left in peace, with my good or bad taste, but with my taste after all, with what makes me feel good.

Omg omg omg!! If only you were sending something from their earlier years with Amaia Montero. I saw them live at Valencia Plaza de Toros when I lived there in early 2004 when their album "Lo Que Te Conté Mientras Te Hacías La Dormida" was everywhere - every radio station, every music show, every café. Loved that album, but also some classics on their earlier albums as well.

Here are some of my faves:
20 de Enero - always loved the story of this one. Their songs always had such great stories, but this one was particularly awesome I thought!
Bonustrack - this one hit HARD when they performed it live, the whole place was bouncing! Loved the electronica feel.
Deseos de Cosas Imposibles - again, such a great melody and story to this one. This was probably my favourite song from the Lo Que Te Conté album when it came out.
Perdóname - don't think they ever released this one as a single but adored the chorus of this one in particular with the snare drumbeat pounding!
Desde El Puerto - definitely my fave from "El Viaje de Copperpot. Such a perfect melody and I adore the lyrics "Sobre el agua se dibuja una historia ya dormida. En silencio escucho el verso de tu despedida"

Look forward to seeing what you choose, even though I expect it may be one of their "second generation" tracks with Leire.

@theditz83 I'm afraid your intuition is right and I'm sending a song with Leire I have the impression not everyone would appreciate their older songs precisely because they are old and for many people they would sound outdated, but in the future I will probably send a song from the album El Viaje de Copperpot, my favourite one, because it deserves a place in the WV history

I guess cos I discovered them in that era when Amaia was their singer, Leire will always struggle to compete in my mind but I'm willing for you to change my mind on her. Greenfroze was successful when he sent "Cometas Por El Cielo" to NSC but other newer songs I've heard have missed something (mainly Amaia )
