Yes, that's right! Your favourite forum game is back for yet another edition in 2021, and it all starts with Israel's song tomorrow!

The rules will remain much the same as they always have, but there's an important change - from this year's game, #YOU will be able to change your points as new songs are announced, and each Eurovision entry become immediately eligible once it is confirmed for Rotterdam!

:12: :ch: SWITZERLAND (the melody, the voice, the instrumentation, the lyrics, all fantastic!)
:10: :ua: UKRAINE (unique combination of Folklore and House music with very good rhythm )
:8: :fi: FINLAND (cause I like this music genre, the true to life lyrics and the catchy chorus)
:7: :ro: ROMANIA (very good modern song)
:6: :be: BELGIUM (good melody with style and character)
:5: :ie: IRELAND (generic but with nice uplifting melody)
:4: :lt: LITHUANIA (good dance song, not cheap but also not something special)
:3: :fr: FRANCE (it has quality but it's heavily based on "Je suis malade" by Lara Fabian)

Ukraine ascends for this week thanks to the excellent Concert in the Dark live performance and the strong visual presentation for PrePartyES. France ascends on the consistent strength of her live performances. As much as I love the studio version of Adrenalina, Senhit’s live vocals have been lacklustre for me. Switzerland has dropped for now as it hasn't been as out there since that slightly shaky/nervous live performance a month ago.

Honourable Mentions: Malta, Austria and Denmark – The acoustic version Malta presented at PrePartyES was amazing. If THAT was the official version Malta would perform at Eurovision, I would rate it highly. I also don’t like Austria’s and Denmark’s song but Vincent Bueno’s singing at PrePartyES was great and there was an intimate retro charm to Fyr & Flamme at Concert in the Dark that I quite enjoyed.

Dishonourable Mention: Moldova – Just when I was getting back on the sugar train, along comes a performance at PrePartyES with horrible acoustics and bad vocals. So that blows their chance of getting back on my Top 10.

Just minor changes in the order of favourites this week. The Ukrainian song has grown on me the most, probably because of their great performance in the PrePartyES the other night. 🔥

I would have also loved to give Jendrik 🇩🇪 some points, if there just weren't so many good songs this year that I cannot drop any of my current top 10 out right now...
