EDC 2010 was cancelled

Svante was in Belarus today where he had on-line chat on BTRK... he said:
"EDC took a rest. At least during next 2 years... I can say that we don't plan to resurrect this contest in the near future. That's why there will be no EDC in Baku in 2010."

I'm both sad and happy with that decision. :?

Sad = Cause EDC is not a completly stupid idea, it works pretty ok.
Happy = Cause the old-fashioned dances are there, it makes it boring.

I was pretty sure something like that might happen. Personally, I would be alright with ESC only. Both JSEC and EDC are too much for me, though the Eurovision Dance Contest is definitely more entertaining, as I love these kinds of dance. I've actually trained many of them in the past.
