Performed by: No Angels
Language: English
Placing: 23rd (14 points)

On and on I've tried to move it along (It won't stop)
Tried to find the strength to turn it around (It won't stop)
Everything's been off since you went away
And time just broke the promise to ease the pain

'Cause I need you here
And it's just not fair
That it won't get better
Why did you disappear?

And we got nowhere
But it won't stop there
Though you're gone forever
I can't make you disappear

Crashing, breaking memories in my mind (It won't stop)
Never ever close to getting it right (It won't stop)
Best time of my life, now it's washed away
Still the stars, they know how to spell your name

'Cause I need you here
And it's just not fair
That it won't get better
Why did you disappear?

And we got nowhere
But it won't stop there
Though you're gone forever
I can't make you disappear

'Cause you got into my heart of stone
And I can't get used to being all alone

'Cause I need you here
And it's just not fair
That it won't get better
Why did you disappear?

And we got nowhere
But it won't stop there
Though you're gone forever
I can't make you disappear

I was really disappointed by this song - in my opinion Carolin Fortenbacher or Marquess should have won the NF, I guess they would have been much better than the No Angels

The funny thing is that just before the final began (it may have been some hours before that, actually) I told my dad, in connection with Lucy, "They won't finish higher than 23rd". They did exactly that.

I liked the song but the final performance was too simple. Imho, the song was better than its performers.
Also, I liked this song b/c I broke up with a bf, it was personal, but seeing how they ruined this song live was the biggest disappointment of that night. They didn't deserve so low place though, imo.

I didn't like the performance - the wind machines and flapping fabric - and the vocals were a bit ropey.
I wanted them to be better than that,so it was a bit of a letdown.

I love the song.I'd liked a lot of No Angels singles in the years before they entered ESC.
'Disappear' is still one of my fav No Angel tracks.

Nadja Benaissa who is one of the Angels has been in the german media for the past few months. Nadja who is HIV postive allegedly had unprotected sexual intercourse with another men who is claiming he tested postive as well and it is saying he got if from her. She appeared in court yesterday and a ruling in the case is to be expected soon.

Nadja knew since 1999 that she was positive and hid it from the public eye fearing it could damage her career. In that process she lived in a state of denial and had unprotected sex on numerous occassions. She apologized to the victim saying it was not her intention for this to happen.

It was not her intention, but it happened. It's good she apologized, but she acted like a psycho and if something happens to that man she would be the only guilty.

Unprotected sexual Intercourse is not a crime.

I have a feeling this may be the end the "No Angels" at least for Nadja.

I think it is if you are HIV positive and you know it, isn't it?
Of course people should take preventions themselves (I don't get why a lot of people is so stupid about this), but she is the only guilty I think.

I agree with you, i was referring to the comment

What about the men themselves... Aren't they responsible for not asking her or taking any measures in advance

Unprotected sex itself is not a crime unless you are knowingly spread a disease which Nadja did in this case so she is obviously at fault here.

It sucks cause the "No Angels" were big during my teenagerhood so it sucks having to witness their "demise" in such a sad and tragic way.

It was on BBC about this an it showed the Eurovision peformance. :p
I dont want No Angels to break-up but she has wrecked several mens lives so she deserves to be punished. She is no better doing what she did than if she had stabbed them or something :(.

Nadja received a two year suspended prison sentence. She was found guilty one one count causing grievous bodily harm and two of attemptede bodily harm.
Though she won't end up in prison she is required to work 300 hours of community service including regular counseling meetings.

And the iconic 2000's pop beat is gone now. Urgh...that's not good I do say
