Got her album today, and I'll tell you what I think about it, as soon as I hear all the songs :D

Most of the songs were written by Raab, so they're not exactly great, but the other songs (not written by Raab) are good. My favorite is "Not Following" written by the British Ellie Goulding especially for Lena.

This was planned by Raab, he even wrote the text. From a different angle, you can see him sing along.

I love that track and the "Mr.Curiosity" cover is amazing. But I would have loved a "Neopolitan Dreams" cover. She made a stunning performance with that song in USFO.

Press Release - Universal Music Germany (7 June 2010)

PM von Universal - 7. Juni 2010

- Europaweite Veröffentlichung, Amerika klopft an

Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo.

Most important facts:

- Lena back on #1 in the German single charts with "Satellite" and staying on #1 in the album charts with "My Cassette Player"
- "Satellite" to be certified double platinum in Germany, "My Cassette Player" to be certified platinum in Germany
- "Satellite" to be certified Gold in Norway after just 1 week
- "Satellite" #1 of the single charts in Norway, Denmark, Sweden & Finland
- after her win, Lena jumped to #1 of the download charts in 11 different countries
- Lena enters the UK single charts at #30 and the Australian single charts at #37
- "Satellite" already released in all European countries, the album to be released everywhere in Europa within the next few weeks
- Official releases of both album and single to follow in Australia, New Zealand and Canada
- First demands for Lena in the USA
- after some days of rest, Lena will start an extensive journey throughout Europe in the next few weeks

Yeah, those are good ones, but note that "Mr Curiosity" is only a cover (just like "My Same").

"Bee" (as well as "Love Me") was one of the songs presented in the national final, so it could have been this year's ESC entry, but it was not chosen by the audience.

Lena's second single is gonna be "Touch a New Day". This was announced today.

Not the best choice in my opinion, but there would have been worse choices too ;)

Maybe they're doing a better music video this time. You know, with a budget higher than 10 euros and a coffee pot :D
