. As I wrote, Benny had said "some sort of a teaser" on his stream, so what he'd really meant apparently was this "annoucement of the announcement"... :/(I guess maybe some of those locations in today's announcement could figure in the music video?
it must have been pre-recorded some time ago, as Benny had a bandage on his finger on Tuesday's stream quoting minor injury - and it would make sense to shoot this and the music video around the same time. But I am probably reading too much into things and he just shot it on the occasional lunch break from his jiu jitsu training. )

Isn't the background music in the video from the song though?
I don't know, I'd probably rather hope not. Except for the last few seconds, I'd say the background music is kinda fashion catwalk worthy?

It's basically the music basic people who want to hook up in a relaxing atmosphere is being played to get the other "person" into the mood.
That style might be very en vogue right now but I have never perceived it as very instant or competitive. I don't know if that style is the pbest choice for a contest.

It doesn't sound like a winning song but at least it's not a slow song and it does sound authentic to Ben's style so that's something.. He says the song will be optimistic and playful which I appreciate, as well.
In the video he also talks about how he wants to enjoy himself more this time because last year he was affected by people's comments which made him nervous and insecure about the song. I hope he'll have a better experience this year. It's a pity that all the artists last year basically only experienced the early stages of Eurovision when we, fans, are always very critical. This year's artists won't be able to experience the best bits like performing at concerts, in clubs, meeting the fans and each other etc. either but hopefully it will still be an enjoyable and enriching journey for them all

Also Omaga reminds me of MAGA so not a very good first impression
But I suppose it's meant to be a variant of "oh my god" which is also not that great tbh

So far I like what I hear. It seems to be in Ben's style. Though it's almost impossible to judge, we've heard 5 seconds from the beginning of the verse.
