Personally, I'm not overly optimistic because I still think it's a borderline song. The performance will not hurt their chances which is all I was hoping for, but it doesn't feel like a top5 material either. I also think that we're quite lucky that their song&style&performance happen to be quite unique in the semi which might help them stand out, so I'm not completely pessimistic either..

You need context. Due to a camera malfunction none of the Czech rehearsal was broadcast to the press centre. The fact that it got any point at all is hilarious since no one actually saw it.

An interesting addition. This style of music is very different from the usual music in Eurovision. It sounds like a song from the 80s. Since I like the music from that era, I like the sound of this song too. I give it an appropriately matched 8 points.

Czech Republic can surprise us again this year. The song is upbeat and stands out. The singer is very handsome and charismatic.

They changed the second spoken part into singing and added a little bit of a climax at the end - not many changes. And during live performance, they lowered the key so that Albert doesn't have trouble singing it - due to the jumping around the stage.

On another note, former ESC participants (Marta Jandová, Mikolas, Kabát) and this year's NF participants (Barbora, Hana Barbara, Jara Vymer) wished Lake Malawi luck and are rooting for them tonight. Great to see this support
