I fell in love, I fell in love
I gave my heart to el diablo, el diablo
I gave it up, I gave it up, because
He tells me I'm his angel, I'm his angel

Tonight we're gonna burn in a party
We're wild as fire that's on the loose
Hotter than sriracha on our bodies
Ta-Taco tamale, yeah, that's my mood
All this spicy melts my icy edges, baby, it's true
Tonight we're gonna burn in a party
It's heaven in hell with you

Mama-mamacita, tell me what to do
Lo-la-lo-la-loca, I'm breaking the rules

I fell in love, I fell in love
I gave my heart to el diablo, el diablo
I gave it up, I gave it up, because
He tells me I'm his angel, I'm his angel
Oh-oh-oh, el diablo, el diablo
I fell in love, I fell in love
I gave my heart to el diablo, el diablo

Tonight we're gonna dance in the moonlight
Droppin' our lashes on the floor
Hair flip-flip made you look twice
Touch me, touch me, mi amor
All this spicy melts my icy edges, baby, for sure
Tonight we're gonna dance in the moonlight
And then we're gonna do it some more

Mama-mamacita, tell me what to do
Lo-la-lo-la-loca, I'm breaking the rules

I fell in love, I fell in love
I gave my heart to el diablo, el diablo
I gave it up, I gave it up, because
He tells me I'm his angel, I'm his angel
Oh-oh-oh, el diablo, el diablo
I fell in love, I fell in love
I gave my heart to el diablo, el diablo

I fell in love, I fell in love
I gave my heart to el diablo, el diablo
I gave it up, I gave it up, because
He tells me I'm his angel, I'm his angel
Oh-oh-oh, el diablo, el diablo, oh-oh
I fell in love, I fell in love
I gave my heart to el diablo, el diablo

sis it's literally a trope

Thanks for this video, I think it clears a lot up about how these types of lyrics might make Latin Americans like yourself especially think... Those kinds of stereotypes should end, it's literally so annoying I can confirm for myself as well. People are so quick to be defensive about this though which I totally don't understand, are all of y'all Latin Americans now suddenly.

Tumblr, mostly.
The entire premise of she got me WAS "Fuego, But This Time It's A Boy"'. Only INCREDIBLY STUPID PEOPLE don't see this obvious play.

Shitzerland 2019 was performed by a man, and we all know that whenever a man sings any song, everybody shuts the f**k up, something that doesn't happen when a woman performs the same kind of song.

It goes more or less like this, all the time:

Female songs: *exist*

Eurofans: OmG hOrRiBlE!1!1!!!!1!11

Male songs: *are the worst songs ever recorded*

Eurofans: OmG mAsTeRpIeCe!1!!!!!11!!!11

I can sincerely say that I think this isn't the case. At all.

Some key highlights from her interview in Wiwibloggs.

  1. There is a commercial break before she performs at No. 8.
  2. The live on tape is different from her on-stage performance
  3. Some elements from the video clip will be in the on-stage performance as far as I understood (but I think it will be little correlation)
  4. 4 female dancers with her on stage
  5. Laurell Barker will be her backing vocalist.

Fuego and She Got Me are not even melodicly similar... Fuego has that trash music from Greece/Albania/Bulgaria/Romania...
She Got Me is something that Enrique Iglesias would sing...

The formula of the entry is same, the only difference is female/male. Nobody says songs sounds same etc we talk about success formula

That's your interpretation of what has been said. Most of the comments are just about 'Fuego again' etc.

Also, the 'formula' thing doesn't make sense. Unless you are talking about it being an uptempo song with dancing. Fuego was not the first or last song to be uptempo with dancing... and a chorus... and verses.

It's a very tired comparison.

This would be legit if Fuego was some ORIGINAL, never heard before song.. But, it isn't, quite contrary..
