I don't know why people say that Estonia and France were the worst winners of 2001 and 2002.

Yes indeed  Even if France had won that year with an horrible song, it would still be a great victory for France

But "Il faut du temps" was a beautiful song that deserved to win, the same goes for "Je n'ai que mon âme" in 2001 :(

I don't think anyone likes :az: but in a year of mediocre songs it was definitely in the top 15 songs but in saying this it did not deserve to win. :gr: and :fi: I hate also

The first three finalists I think most deserves their places - all the guys has great songs and find fault with them is silly. I hear these hits everywhere, and that's saying a lot! The scandal all made from scratch, no one has any proof.

with all of this accusations i think that EBU will return the voting system to the one used in 2010-2012. but nothing more will change

wow. How can Azerbaijan continue to participate. Every year its subject to accusations, and Azerbaijan have clearly got a glowing record *cough* 2009 *cough* ive always found it suspicious that a country that joined in 2008 in no bloc does so very well, when others have done so bad.

In French press, Bonnie Tyler gave an interview (she's now in France to promote her album :) ) and she accuses Russia of having cheated and say all was tricked...

"The next day after Eurovision, Russian complained to Azerbaidjan : Where are the 10 points we paid for"

You can listen to the short interview in English here :
VIDEO. Bonnie Tyler accuse l'Eurovision de tricherie

I can tell you, it comes everywhere on French news and people all call for boycott because actually, everybody in France think all is tricked and everything... While EBU does nothing it becomes such a shame and a disaster... And I can tell ypu we will end up withdrawing very soon... Because it doesn't give people the feeling like watching the contest at all...

No matter which countries are involved in this mess, it´s quite obvious that EBU has an Tornado over themselves right now, if they don´t make a speech or something like that, 1970 will be repeated again

Maybe Eastern countries are not playing fair, but I'm not sure if Bonnie could understand talk of Russians and Azeris. Cheap sensation IMO :p

Maybe it should become a television countries and I think that then we won't have to much politics talk. I mean, if instead of :az: we would have Ictimai TV participating and it would be like PBS gives 12 points to Ictimai TV, or CyBC gives 12 points to ERT, I don't think that the politicians would care as only the image of the national television is in stake and not the image of the entire country :)

JON OLA SAND: “I AM PISSED OFF”

This year there have been widespread allegations that PR firms, employed on behalf of country delegations, have attempted to buy off judges. The most compelling piece of evidence occurred when Lithuanian journalists went undercover to meet an individual offering cash for Azeri votes.

Sand has said the EBU is taking the allegations seriously and is investigating the situation. The situation has struck a real nerve and created something of a Sand-storm. “Of course I’m pissed,” he told Sweden’s Aftonbladet newspaper. “It’s terribly annoying that someone [may be] trying to buy votes.

However, the EBU’s actions have also done little to diffuse the situation with producers now deciding the running order and refusing to release neither jury votes or televotes from individual countries.

Former Eurovision chief Svante Stockselius says, “The EBU is not afraid to buck the member countries. They can be tough on television companies if needed”.

If someone is interested, the original Aftonbladet article:
Skandalen hotar hela tävlingen

As I understand the article is based on interviews with Ola Sand and Svante Stockselius. Apparently the tabloid found Ola Sand's replies as "diplomatic" and filled with "air" and "no content". :D

As always, the most interesting are found in the comments:
"har man inget bättre för sig än att fuska i eurovision? dags att börja prioritera om i livet för vissa människor..."
Translates to something like:
"having nothing better to do than to cheat in eurovision? time to start prioritising in life for some people ..."
Couldn't agree more!

Something is terribly wrong this year and i don't know if it's possible to trust in EBU anymore.
Was it rigged for Denmark?

Eurovision 2013: Corruption allegations must be responded to now through full transparency.

http://www.change.org/petitions/eur...ow-for-all-countries-in-eurovision-2013#share

A commenter on Wiwibloggs writes:

"1. Serbia has a border with Romania. 2. Romanian minority lives in Serbia. 3. Romanian entry was popular on rankings in Serbia. 4. Romania got zero points from Serbia. [...] Votes for Serbia were rigged as well. No one I know of voted for Denmark while a lot of them voted for Italy and Romania, Romania in particular. Romania got ZERO points from Serbia? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING? This is so obviously rigged it's not even funny!" I add to this that Serbia didn't give Greece any points either, which is highly unusual, especially so as the Greek entry was broadly popular this year.

Whoever wrote that has no idea what is he talking about. First of all, people here did not like Romanian entry. In fact, a lot of people were making fun of him and his voice and I can easily say that it was among most hated entries here. The fact we share border with them is irrelevant too. We are much closer with Slovenia for example because we used to be one country and people here always vote for them ( 10 points for both Maja Keuc and Eva Boto ). And yet again this year we gave them a big zero because people simply didnt like their song. There is Romanian minority in Serbia, true, but its not that huge to guarantee them points in Eurovision xpoke
Next thing, people here strongly supported Danish entry. A lot of my friends who dont even follow the show regulary said that the most of the songs were crap and Danish is the only one that they like.

Im wondering why do they have to mention Serbia in every drama going on  and clearly without some rational reasons. They better do something about clear injustice that happened in other countries instead of saying how Serbia rigged voting just because we didnt give points to Cezar xlol
