Found my thread finally hahahahahah!
Well, what can I say? I am super dissapointed in the failure of La ti da as it was performed in the kinda universal language and sounded so sweet and New Year-ish. Sadly, when I came back I am not anymore involved in WV Music taste and have no Idea what songs can make it and what can fail, so I can't predict when I am not going to qualify on 100% and when I will make it through. Just like in the previous edition when I thought Sogdiana from Russia won't make it, it qualified and, moreover, passed 100 points. Maybe my judgement comes from understanding of the lyrics and my prejudice towards Sogdiana herself but it was a huge surprise
No offense Russia, just an expression of my thoughts.
And speaking again about songs I send... I send what I like just like I did with Hovenstaden. My music taste was shaped here and it varies from Metal (like Nightwish which were my obsession when I was 13 XD) Folk songs and songs from 90's to Russian trap rap and spanish reggaeton. I am fine dealing with such a huge variety of genres in my playlist so I will continue to send what I like from my country's music scene no matter how hard I will flop
