Cantique de Noël or apparently more common Minuit, Chrétiens, to Scandinavians known as O helga natt or Adams julsång. Music written by Adolphe Adam 1847 with a text by Placide Cappeau. A French Christian Christmas song which is the absolute necessary finale on every Swedish Christmas concert and traditional Christmas school ceremony. A song when done properly will make your chest cramp, your eyes water and breath erratic, especially when experienced live.

The song should be strong and building up to a crescendo at the high notes in the end.
"Adams julsång" should be pronounced with a French Adam + s and then julsång as usual Swedish
