And I can move on from here
How simple, life goes on
Humble, that's how I feel
Sparking hot flames, holding on
Younger days run so clear
Through my mind, replaying my crime
Tearing me up, spreading fear
Obsession in my own time

What life's taken away, I'm not missing
Will I sit back and sigh?
A thunder of thoughts, I'm dismissing
Too scared to even try

And in time I've always known
I'm never in the safety zone
I took the fight, but was I right?
They were sending me to war
And in time I've always known
I'm never in the safеty zone
I took the fight, but was I right?
They wеre sending me to war

My intention is strong and real
Only power steels my will
The illusion of safety's surreal
Don't let it go for the kill

What life's taken away, I'm not missing
Will I sit back and sigh?
A thunder of thoughts, I'm dismissing
Too scared to even try

And in time I've always known
I'm never in the safety zone
I took the fight, but was I right?
They were sending me to war
And in time I've always known
I'm never in the safety zone
I took the fight, but was I right?
They were sending me to war

I don't want to take on the pain
So, I go seek inner signs, or a calling
The more freedom I gain
The less real life I'm recalling

so who thinks that they are the actual representatives of Bulgaria?

I'm kinda torn.
I hope they're not tho.

I hope that they are, 'cause from what I've seen their music is really good xheat

Also if they're the Bulgarian representents I feel like Bulgaria will be @mauve 's N°1 this year xheat

Supposedly they're the pet project of a Bulgarian millionaire, Milen Vrabevski... That could be an important piece of the puzzle as to why they're chosen, as that would mean Vrabevski possibly sponsoring them and their performance, which would take care of BNT's money problems...

but would that fit what the Bulgarian delegation said back in June (I think it was then): that they would rather not send anybody if they don't find a suitable act?

I don't know this band seems like something the Bulgarian delegation wouldn't send but who knows...

And also would they really be allowed to say this? Isn't the Bulgarian delegation usually very secretive about their decisions?

Yeah it was them who said that we could have participated in 2019 but they didn't find the act that was suggested to be suitable, so I am starting to become skeptical that this group will represent us, maybe they are just chasing some quick clout. That would be the best case scenario.

Also now that I know we could have participate in 2019, I really wonder what we would have sent, I hope we find out someday.

Exciting news. After this Bulgarian girl made big waves at X factor Italia few days ago, she officially decided to try to represent Bulgaria 2022. Wow, big potential!

I'm not sure it would be a good idea unfortunately, her performance in the second phase of the auditions showed that she still has to work on her technique. She has a lot of charisma and stage presence, as pointed out by Mika, but I don't think that's gonna be enough for Eurovision.

We should just send Lidiya (JESC 2016)

One of the names in my radar for Bulgaria in the next future... But I don't think 2022 will be her year: she will turn 16 next year after all. She's still very young and I'm sure she will have her possibilities.

She's gonna be 16 in February. And the last time we sent a kiddo we almost won, so why not. There's no such thing as too young or too old, there's only capable and incapable.

Wow - Lidiya's voice is incredible and honestly, with the right song, she can end up being very high for Bulgaria but I agree with @Kashone Due to her very young age, it probably would be a bit better to wait a few more years (or at least, another year).#
Nika Paris sounds great as well but she needs to learn to control her voice a bit more but isn't that the point of having a coach on a talent show? - She wouldn't be a bad entrant for Bulgaria either.

Anyway, Bulgaria has been criminally underrated in Eurovision before its comeback and since then, it gave me well-produced bops or incredibly stunning productions. I really admire the fact that Bulgaria has stopped giving us half-baked ideas for years now. Can't wait to see what they will serve us next year!

That's really unfortunate but it might be an opportunity to try another genre or direction?

yeah... but the direction they were going was great, so it worries me what they'll do next...

do Bulgarians here think they were fired or that they decided on their own to leave?
