Best / Worst Lyrics of ESC 2015

But I couldn't find an existing single thread to discuss this:
- which song(s) do you think has the best (or worst) lyrics of 2015 edition?

(you might need to go through the net and really read through the lyrics (or translation) of the songs to decide)

I think Hungary's message is so good, however the song is not.




And when you call me baby, what's that supposed to mean

I still try to understand, did he call her "baby", or what she says is equal with "when you called me, what's that supposed to mean, baby"?




I mentioned in the other thread. I strongly found messages related to Armenian Genocide. I don't know if it is only me.

My favourite lyrics are from Nadav Guedj's hot hit 'Golden Boy' and that is pull me baby I'm your trigger.

Just looked up Grande Amore's translation.

Hmm... the lyrics are too cheesy for the music.

Best lyrics for me:

- "Honey, I'm telling the truth, I did something terrible in my early youth" - exactly the pain of telling the truth in a relationship.
- "Time is like thunder, hear it like thunder, all we got is some days, and I try not to waste" - the fact that time is moving fast and never wait for anyone.
- "We are the heroes of our time, but we're dancing with demons in our minds" - human being imperfection despite having the power to change the world

Hmm... the lyrics are too cheesy for the music.

Yeah, if you look at the translation the song from is probably one of the cheesiest of this year... but somehow I think that in Italian the lyrics are wonderful

also have to mention this from : I better let you go... To find the prince you thought you found in me

and of course this is one of the best lyrics this year - And before I leave get me show you Tel Aviv

Have to think a bit about the worst ones

I don't think Italy's lyrics are cheesy at all. I pretty enjoy it.

As much as I LOVED Nina Sublatti's 'Warrior', some of the lyrics were... questionable. "Oximated". That word is SO obscure in English, I just don't even? LOL. Not to mention the chorus. "Still stucked in my mind"?

I love Aminata's 'Love Injected', the way she says these lines:
Show me the source of the light
I'm becoming affected
Seeing the glow of a white
Is what I have detected

Feeling again I'm alive
It's a shining reflected
Love injected, love injected

Simple, but effective
