Sometimes I feel down
Sometimes I booze
Sometimes I fall
Sometimes I do wrong
One day I'm cool
One day I'm cold

And I've been trying to escape my past
Give up on the sadness that you left behind
I've been trying to erase my mind
You stay like a nightmare
When I close my eyes

Am I gonna miss you? no
Promise I won't miss you, no
I'm gonna break through, no
I'll never hate you
I'll never chase you

Sometimes I feel good
Sometimes I lose my mind and my soul
That's when I see you
And out of thе blue I answer your call

And I've been trying to еscape my past
Give up on the sadness that you left behind
I've been trying to erase my mind
But you stay like a nightmare
When I close my eyes

Am I gonna miss you? no
Promise I won't miss you, no
I'm gonna break through, no
I'll never hate you
I'll never chase you

Am I gonna miss you? no, no
Promise I won't miss you, no
I'm gonna break through, no
I'll never hate you
I'll never chase you

I gotta make it to the bright side
I've been lying when I said I'm fine
Wanna find a way to feel alive

Am I gonna miss you? no
Promise I won't miss you, no
I'm gonna break through, no
I'll never hate you
I'll never chase you

Never feel bad
When love is good
Life goes on
Don't wanna live my life
Waiting for your call

Sometimes I feel down
Sometimes I booze
Sometimes I fall

Pick Lous and the Yakuza for guaranteed top points from the Italian televote please. She has a devoted fanbase here, she has appeared multiple times in radio and TV (including as a guest on cover night in Sanremo) and she has released a song with Sfera Ebbasta, currently the most popular Italian rapper.

it's very possible that Charles will represent Belgium next year! She also wrote the lyrics for Hooverphonic this year!

This is my kinda dark pop songs I adore...It reminds me of Julia Alfrida...
So If she is going to represent Belgium then its going to be amazing

yeah same! Julia Alfrida did not convince me as a live performer though.. Charles seems a much better performer + a more interesting vocalist!

Tumblr, mostly.
Angèle => BAZART => Charlotte Adigéry => Mentissa Aziza.

These four, in exactly that order, for the next four years, tyvm.

With the success of French in 2021, I can definitely see Belgium going French in 2022.

Probably not going to happen, but Stromae or Angèle xcheer

Belgium has carved an odd niche for them in ESC lately it seems, I think it started already a bit with Loïc back in 2015 (with 2016 being the odd man out), but intensified 2017- onwards with kinda darker "indie-Pop"-ish stuff, which I personally don't mind at all because I'm pretty much into that, although It's been a bit of hit or miss for me. I really liked Blanche's and Eliot's entries as far as songs goes (Blanche was my #1 in 2017 even, but both stagings were a bit off and you could tell none of them were ready for this yet, especially Eliot that really messed up live), wheres I wasn't a fan of Sennek's and find Hooverphonic's entry a bit "meh"... but I think maybe it's time to go a little bit lighter in 2022? (but not 2016 style!) xshrug

Angèle with a song like Tour Oublier would be so epic, this could mean a :be: victory!
