Sometimes I feel down
Sometimes I booze
Sometimes I fall
Sometimes I do wrong
One day I'm cool
One day I'm cold

And I've been trying to escape my past
Give up on the sadness that you left behind
I've been trying to erase my mind
You stay like a nightmare
When I close my eyes

Am I gonna miss you? no
Promise I won't miss you, no
I'm gonna break through, no
I'll never hate you
I'll never chase you

Sometimes I feel good
Sometimes I lose my mind and my soul
That's when I see you
And out of thе blue I answer your call

And I've been trying to еscape my past
Give up on the sadness that you left behind
I've been trying to erase my mind
But you stay like a nightmare
When I close my eyes

Am I gonna miss you? no
Promise I won't miss you, no
I'm gonna break through, no
I'll never hate you
I'll never chase you

Am I gonna miss you? no, no
Promise I won't miss you, no
I'm gonna break through, no
I'll never hate you
I'll never chase you

I gotta make it to the bright side
I've been lying when I said I'm fine
Wanna find a way to feel alive

Am I gonna miss you? no
Promise I won't miss you, no
I'm gonna break through, no
I'll never hate you
I'll never chase you

Never feel bad
When love is good
Life goes on
Don't wanna live my life
Waiting for your call

Sometimes I feel down
Sometimes I booze
Sometimes I fall

There is absolutely no explanation for this making the final. Weak song, weak vocals, weak presentation, idc argue with the wall.

So glad he qualified. Staging could be a bit better but it's just a great song overall, representation in both genre and origin!

I might be a minority here but for me it was crystal clear he will qualify, and I don’t think it is only thanks to the jurors awarding his singing. I think it was one of the more solid performances and staging tonight, and I am not even a big fan of the song, but can see why it qualified.

Thing is, vocals were great and the performance was well done but it was such a non event that I actually forgot that this competed in this semi until they got announced as a qualifier
And coming from the Netherlands, we always keep an eye on Belgium

But hey!!! Happy for them

I am curious to see how well he did with both juries and televote. I always found this tricky to predict.

Can anyone who genuinely enjoyed Belgium please like put me on ignore. I don't know who you people are so I can't do it myself, but I just don't want to interact with such people. Thanks in advance.

My nephews and my little sister really love this song, I believe it can connect with teenagers (they are between 14 and 17 years old), at least in France where "urban music" (that's how it is called here) is very popular with the young people. But are they the public who watches esc? And do they vote? No idea.

Yeah so essentially we can conclude that I don't want to interact with people who behave like they are in puberty. Makes sense to me.

I think televote for Belgium was weak anyway. Seems like the sort of song juries will vote for to make it seem like they don't just auto-blank bops, only reinforcing the idea that they do.

Switzerland of semi 2? This smells a "jury save"...

- English language
- Western country
- Generic dated forgettable "Americanized" midtempo R&B- pop from early to mid 00's.
- This sounds like a forgetten Blue B-side or even demo, maybe the grandmas in the juries thought this is "fresh and cool" (they are afterall like 20 years behind).

I really liked the song in the beginning, but it is the biggest fader for me, additionally live the song doesn't sound half as good. When it comes on playlist though, I don't skip it either! But I can't imagine people voting much for it tonight.

I love the song, but it was totally unconvincing live. I had it as a certain qualifier, but in the end, I was also somewhat surprised he actually made it through.

I hope he will be much better tonight, because I still like the song. We will see what that will bring.

Well, he was top 10 with both the public and the jury in the semi final, and 8th to qualify overall. I'm not into the song myself but for some reason I was really rooting for this one and I'm kind of glad people who insisted it only got through thanks to jury were proven wrong lol.

Jury saved this, televote saved Romania. You can share the blame out.
