Performed by: Tom Dice
Lyrics by: Tom Dice, Ashley Hickin, Jeroen Swinnen
Composed by: Tom Dice, Ashley Hickin, Jeroen Swinnen
Language: English

People always say, “Tom, this is going too far”
I’m not afraid to change my dreams, just me and my guitar
No one may ever know the feelings inside my mind
‘Cause all of the lines I ever write are running out of time

So maybe I should get a 9 to 5
I don’t wanna let it go, there’s so much more to life

Tell me that I got it wrong
Tell me everything will be ok before I fall
Tell me they’ll play my songs
Tell me they’ll sing the words I say when darkness falls
All of the stars will sing, just me and my guitar

Surely I’ll find my way, ’cause I’m not afraid to try
Even a world of love and hope can’t guarantee their prize
So maybe I should get a 9 to 5
I don’t wanna let it go, there’s so much more to life

Tell me that I got it wrong
Tell me everything will be ok before I fall, no no
Tell me they’ll play my songs
Tell me they’ll sing the words I say when darkness falls
All of the stars will sing, just me and my guitar
Me and my guitar[/center:ncvn5ggz]

It could be. But our music teacher played a song for us and told us the group was Belgian. She may be wrong, though.

I think she will be wrong.
I searched on the internet and their I found it is a french group

Re: BELGIË/BELGIQUE - Belgium 2010

While Flanders is eagerly looking forward to the first press release about VRT's plans for Eurosong 2010, popular singer Natalia shows her interest to represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 for the first time. With a good song she'll accept the circus that comes with it with pleasure.
"I want to charge myself for something new, feel the adrenaline flow. Therefore, a stimulus from the outside would be welcome," says Natalia in an extensive interview with Flemish newspaper De Morgen. Could the Eurovision Song Contest provide that stimulus? "That could be, but they haven't asked me yet. I have not been following the festival for many years, because I think it all is rather bloated. Whether I'll go depends on the song I should sing in the first place. If that's good, I want to try it. Then I'll accept the circus that comes with it with pleasure."

"I think everyone was tired of those preselections," Natalia said about the decision of Flemish broadcaster VRT to cancel the Eurosong 2010 preselection, and simply pick a representative for the Eurovision Song Contest themselves. "It is the same every other year. And you can hardly say that the song Kate Ryan sang in Athens wasn't good. Eventually she even didn't get a fair chance over there."

Belgium and Netherlands have one of the richest music scenes in Europe. I hope they can nail it next year, cause I've heard a lot of songs from this country and Netherlands and it is sad that they do very poorly on ESC. I still have faith in Be-Ne!

Tom Dice to represent Belgium in Oslo

The Belgian broadcaster in charge of the Eurovision duties this year, Flanders' VRT, has chosen 20-year-old Tom Dice to represent Belgium in Oslo. This year, the station has taken the final decision internally.
The announcement was made at a special press conference held today by the Flemish broadcaster VRT. Tom Dice, runner-up at the musical show X-Factor, will take part in one of the semifinals of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Oslo next May. More information is expected to be disclosed shortly.

He is a cute guy :) His voice is good but he should improve it. I think he can get a good result with a slow, touching song. The song is the most important for me. I wish good luck to him :)

He seems promising. But i don't wanna see a balad or slow rock although it seems it's going to be. It'd never bring Belgium to the grand final IMO. Wish the best of luck!

He's a really good singer :D

I disagree I think Belgium should send a really good ballad and them combined with the 50/50 voting they are certain to qualify. :D

I'm really disappointed by this, internal selection should've meant choosing a really big established act, not an X Factor failure who hasn't even released his own song yet :? hopefully the song will be worth it...
