Lmao the manipulation at the Mixed Team Ski Jumping gets even more obvious:
Apparently Urša Bogataj told the press that she got a warning from the material control people because of her suit. Meanwhile all the others were immediately disqualified.
Don't know. I heard everybody got a warning before the olympics.

The Dutchies are third on the medal table, with no snow and this year till now no ice. xheat

Apparently there seems to be a doping case in the Russian figure skating team.

I am very happy about another Golden medals for our Luge athletes and also about the Golden medal of Geiger in the Nordic combined competition (jesus, this was a sick finish!). At the same time I feel pity for Rydzek who looked like the safe winner in the Nordic Combined tonight but 500 metres before the finish he almost collapsed and gave it away....
even more annoying is the 4th place for Lena Dürr in the Women slalom competition since she had the lead after the first heat. That was probably our best chance in Alpine Skiing... Now I believe our Alpine Skiing team will go home without medals once again :(

FOUR more medals for Canada today! Eliot Grondin took silver in men's snowboard cross, Jack Crawford won bronze in men's alpine combined, and another bronze came in the mixed team aerials event in freestyle skiing. Isabelle Weidemann did it again in women's long track speed skating, silver in the 5000m

Canada's men's curling team picked up a big 6-5 win against Norway to improve to 2-0

The men's hockey team begins its campaign against Germany today

Nevertheless, I'd be surprised if Norway won't finish first in medal table. They already missed some good chances for Gold, but there are still plenty of competitions in Biathlon and Nordic skiing sports left. Norway is the powerhouse of wintersports

Btw, good job from the Austrian team so far... as for now, they won the most medals of all nations. I remember a time when they were good only in Alpine Skiing and Ski Jumping but now they appear to be competitive in many different disciplines

Sorry Germans, Canada opens the men's hockey tournament with a 5-1 victory. Pray for us though, we've got the Americans next

Tomorrow (actually in two hours) starts the Dutch :nl: best chance to get a medal outside of the skating rinks. Kimberley Bos is 4th favorite on the Skeleton following the odds. Hopefully she can beat the Germans.
