By the way, I think choosing "diamonds shining on me" was a #LMAO choice and she was just kidding. Usually Azerbaijan does not fancy their Armenian friends.

Oh actually I forgot that thing about Azerbaïdjan and Armenia, it's just that I'm not a fan (at all) of "Chains on you".

I think only if this turns into a full-blown war that lasts for months. I don't think either of them would participate then..

Since 5,000 people have already died and Azerbaijan seems to win the war, I think that Efendi/Azerbaijan will continue taking part in 2021.

Apart from the lost lives which deeply saddens my heart, body and soul, I think that I- as a Eurovision fan - will be more worried about Armenia's participation right now.

They are calling out for songwriters/producers to send their songs for Efendi.

Their selection starts rather late, just like last year.

I'm quite surprised... why didn't they just recycle the "runner-up" song from 2020? I think that Efendi would slay performing a ballad as well.

Anyway, "Cleopatra" was amazing, Efendi looks stunningly beautiful and was serving looks and attitudes in the music video. I expect another poptastic entry from Azerbaijan. Can't wait!

They have very big shoes to fill with Cleopatra, and they probably want every opportunity to equal or surpass it instead of falling back to the runner up. Which may well have been used elsewhere already anyway.

Cleopatra was a fantastic song, and everyone has high expectations. I don't know why, but I have a good feeling that she will come up with another great song. And I hope I am right!

I fully agree! . Listening to "Cleopatra" REALLY LOUD right now (need a break from studying) and it still SLAPS.. That arrangement is simply gorgeous. What a great song!

I would LOVE Azerbaijan to submit an entry like "Nefertiti" :D
