:ch: got more Televotes than :at: from a worse Spot. :pl: reached the Top10 from a worse Spot.
If :at: was a real Threat to :se: and :fi:, like many Austrians claimed, :at: would get 100+ Televotes even from #1.
25-30 Televotes was the Zenith.
No Front.

Switzerland got most of their few points from Scandinavia, just like Cesar Sampson did. Safe, inoffensive, Melodi Grand Prix Melfest Reject that no one streams anymore got their few big points from Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

And Poland is always a televoting top 10, even with their worst entry. Ukraine has a crush on them and they have the same diaspora as Lithuania. whats the point in bringing up Poland, one of the biggest diaspora powerhouses at the moment?

After 137 points in the semi, a zenith of 30 points in the GF is a ridiculous claim. It’s been proven that countries lose points in the GF when they perform early or gain points when they perform late. Netta vs. Cesar Sampson is a perfect example after their televoting tie in the semi.

100+ points was only claimed once from 1st position, by Ukraine 2014 of course. Other than that, everyone without allies is a flopping from #1, but we didnt get 0 points to your personal demise and Germany couldn’t catch us neither from 21st. No matter what happens, Austria beats Germany every year.

Turkey won with a an early running order when the entries were recapped in reverse.

Ok, youre right. Austria would have 200+ Televotes if they performed as lets say #23.

Probably not. Sweden vs Finland sucked out too much oxygen this year, but 120 to 150 points seems reasonable. It would have been a much better closer than UK.

besides that, no one said we were gonna beat Sweden or Finland. We were seeing ourselves in the Top 8, rightfully so but not on the podium. Until the running order was revealed.

if the RO doesn’t matter, why did Austria crash in the odds after the reveal, but gained in the odds before the reveal?
