:se: Jury member Lina Hedlund, who participated with "Victorious" in Melfest, awarded this song 12 points. She also put :nl: last, so I don't know what's going on with her. Maybe she submitted her votes upside down.

Queen of Alcazar and taste (my cheque reached her well xheart)

I'm really sorry though about this result. It doesn't seem very fair at all and it's confusing, especially given the effort that went into the stunning staging and the sincerity of the piece of music you shared. You said it though. It wasn't radio friendly. The Netherlands go for a song with an indie vibe, but it's got its oh oh ohs and audience hand clapping moments. Essentially pop. Limits really wasn't pop and that's probably why it suffered. Super special entry to be proud of though. I'm grateful you sent Paenda.

So, the 8 jury points from :se: aren't quite fair either. Lena Hedlund must have made a mistake. :nl: was last on her jury vote in the semi, and first in the Grand Final. Not plausible.

If :at: was her 17th place, we would have gotten 0 points from :se: and finished dead last also in the semi with 13 points.

It's so funny that Austria was saved from being last by the mistake of a jury member.

Austria is quite prone to get zero points in the televote. It happened in 2015, 2017 and 2019. In even years, we are doing much better. Hoping for 2020 now...

i always thought the song wasn't a smart composition and didn't play to its strengths and then staging could have been better (should have used blue lighting!) and her performance too (even if her acting was great). the delegation seemed so confident on what they had that at some point i just assumed something impressive was on its way, but gradually it just became clear it was an empty attitude. rethink to return, austria

Please, can we get ORF to send her again to ESC next year?

Austrian delegation bet on juries and they bombed. I hope they got the message: send an accessible song.

My bet was also that Austria goes into the Final thanks to juries but also I thought that the song is accessible to at least some people who can relate to the message. But in the end, most people don't understand English or listen to the lyrics. So, the song was lost in translation.

That there were jurors who seriously put this song dead last is really harsh and incomprehensible.

But in the end it was a huge blunder on behalf of the Austrian delegation and a self-inflicted wound.

Paenda tried to sell her album, not her song.

Sara de blue also would have had blue hair and a great voice.

Okay so I finally listend to most of the other songs than Filler from Paenda's new album and I must say that Limits is by far the weakest song!! The decision for this song was pure shit... I guess she would have felt way more comfortable in her usual electropop style! And I would have probable hyped a song like "Like a Domino" or "Filler" till death..

I‘d like to know the song she wrote specifically for the contest, that was eventually discarded.

Wiwibloggs already ripped off my breaking news about Lina Hedlund's blunder.

If I counted correctly she was last in 15 countries televote? And people in press centre were hyping her up because of the staging.

This year the rehearsal coverage was totally pointless for most acts.
