Re: AUSTRALIA 2019

I hope this will be the year when Australia finally shows their diverse music scene. It´s time to take some risks and not safe their entries. :D

Re: AUSTRALIA 2019

Australia if any country should be sending rock, but i guess they have their minds set elsewhere for now.

Been a fan of Australia's entries since their debut - big expectations for 2019 as well!

Re: AUSTRALIA 2019

i have turned from supporting australia in eurovision to wishing they would stay in their asia-pacific lane based entirely on the lack of quality of their last two entries. if they send something good again i might flip back.

so... SAMANTHA JADE OR GO AWAY

Please send a good song next year so I can cheer for Australia justifying their unfair placement this year

Re: AUSTRALIA 2019

Please please please don't go with the "Sony Music / talent show contestant / DNA composition / generic midtempo pop or ballad" combo again, SBS. It's literally all we've done for the last four years (apart from year #1 not being DNA), and it's getting very repetitive. We're more Denmark than Denmark at this point. :?

Amen.

After Isaiah's second-to-last place in televoting, I hoped SBS would do something, but ninth place overall was probably more than respectable to them whatever the way they got it I guess.

Now that you've left the top 10 and almost joined the bottom five with only nine points from televoters, I cross my fingers for a welcome change to happen. Less mainstream composers? Less conventional singers? Hiring someone other than Sacha Jean Baptiste for staging? That could be interesting for once.

If SBS stick to their guns, then they can square up. Ain't nobody got time for another "been there, done that" package.

Re: AUSTRALIA 2019

I am really upset they took this year the place of the real European country - Romania, kicked them out, making them not qualify for the first time :( If it were not for this poor Australia's act, Romania with their much more classy performance would have qualified. Just not fair. So I really hope they finally withdraw.
