With powerful ballad Alban Skenderaj would be perfect choice for Albania 2025

Guys, are you kidding me, like are you kidding me? Albania actually produces the best music in whole Europe and you guys always sends some kind of poor English songs with nothing Albanian in it? I’m not asking for Dhurata Dora, but if you don’t bring something at your level like this, why you even bother?Btw I have a big crush on Don Xhoni.

I don't where the rumors came from but there's so many comments saying the Elvana Gjata will be try again at FiK this year. Hopefully these rumors will turn out to be true.

Obviously won't happen with their current system of national selection, but i'd love to see someone like Kastro Zizo or 2farm represent Albania... very creative and a good direction to go if they want to depart completely from what they've been stuck on, they just need a little more polish to make it more interntionally appealing... now with the likes of Bambie Thug, Baby Lasagna and Let 3 doing so well, maybe it's possible?!?

Their entry this year wasn´t that strong to begin with, but translating it into English killed any little chance it had. I mean, even :ch:and :it: with their big Albanian communities only gave them :3: and :4:, showing that they just don´t like English songs.

So for 2025: Stick with Albanian!!

Eurovision 2015 :al: representative Elhaida Dani has been appointed the new artistic director for the upcoming :al: FiK 63 with a multi-year contract.

I expect with this move the Festival the average participant age will start to skew a bit younger.

Albanians only got 3 days to submit their songs?! - That's a pretty short period Oo

I don't have inside knowledge for this to be clear but I'd give it at least a 20-25% chance that we could see both Arilena Ara and Elvana Gjata back for FiK 63. Arilena is friends with Elhaida and Elvana's team haven't outright denied they aren't competing next year. Slughtly higher chances that at least one of them appears in December.

I hope I can finally have Arilena back
She doesn't seem to be very active tbh.
Her bio on her official website is 6(!) lines long (basically one sentence, announcing a single), 3 of the lines being links to facebook and Instagram
In the section "video", there are 3 entries, and not even "Fall from the sky"
In the section "gallery", two of the videos (of the same song from 2016) are featured again, no press fotos
No tour or concert dates (not even a section for this or past ones)

Yeah her website is not that active, her last album released was 2 years ago (think she did a tour right after), and her last released song was like 3 months ago

So yeah I wonder if she decided to take that time to prepare a ESC entry but that's probably wishful thinking, she might have just taken a break
