At this point I fear Albania will be out, despite being in my top 5 throughout the season and thinking that this would be their easiest qualification in recent years. Not sure what went wrong but it seems like they came up with the staging at the last moment.

To be honest, it was only in the last few hours I started to wonder about Albania and Ronelas chances.....and the live performances so far haven't done much to make me less worried.....

Hope this feeling is completely wrong. (along with Lithuania)

Well, after the performance I'm not surprised this was a NQ. It was a mess. Why did she change it so much? It was great how it was. It just ended up a trashy mess.

At first I thought Albania had a pretty good performance, but it did start to feel as the show went along that the performance felt worse compared to a lot of other performances that came after it. I think the performance might have been a bit too messy overall.

I still thought it might be enough to slip through, but I guess not....

Juries hated it.

She should have had more of her actual singing in it. But really, these qualifications really pissed me off. I got a wild guess Albania, Latvia, Bulgaria and Denmark all were televote top 10, less sure about the latter two, but no doubt juries hated them all. I thought Eurovision wasn't supposed to have the same juries as American Song Contest? Maybe they were inspired by how well that went

Though i knew none of those had any chance to win anyway, it bothers me how much more boring the final becomes because of this. I'm especially thinking of those who only watch the final, what kind of impression are they gonna get with all these boring jurybait songs in a row?

It's just bad for the contest, they seemingly want to take it back to the 90s when it was considered a relic of the past that not many people watched anymore. Maybe the juries should think a bit more about entertainment value and the reputation of the contest, instead of some vaguely defined criteria about vocal skills and deliberately voting down entries they consider too gimmicky...
