Many say "Karma" is superior to "Sekret" but I'm not too sure about that. Perhaps this thought is caused by the particular structure of the entry of 2022. I don't think Albania will be part of my Top 10 but I recognize in "Sekret" the characteristic of being engaging and having greater potential than "Karma". Almost certain qualification for the final and will certainly do better than last year's 21st place.

My review:
I like the balkan rhythm, the English verses are really pointless though and was a miscalculation from the Albanese team (don't translate when it doesn't fit and the singer can't even pronounce!). It's pretty catchy, but also it is clearly more focused on the beat and background music than actually delivering a proper melody (it's more like rap-talking), but I think a good staging will work to its advantage. The juries won't go for it though.

it would have been better to sing only single words in english and not whole passages.
In her new text she simply mentions xhamadani vija vija with no background.

This morning I decided to give my impressions of the Barcelona Pre Party 2022 and the singers who performed there.
Aside from the fact that the Pre Party stage wasn't great (it's something that can be accepted in a pre-contest), I personally found the sound system terrible. The amateur quality audio did not help the singers express themselves at their best nor did the public enjoy the songs as best they could.
The Pre Party was interesting because, as I expressed in the San Marino thread, it shows the strengths and weaknesses of the singers and their songs.
These opening lines will be the same for all pre-party attendee threads. It's a kind of preface.
Now let's talk about Ronela Hajati and "Sekret. I must say that it was the most incisive and convincing performance of the whole Pre Party. "Sekret" was the only song that sounded almost similar to NF and music video. All the limitations of the sound system, the stage, the lack of scenography did not in the least affect a song that has enormous potential for me. Ronela is powerful and full and full of nuances while her tiger charm (as opposed to Monika Liu's fawn charm) wins the heart and makes you want to make her your queen
The competition between Chanel and Ronela and that between "SloMo" and "Sekret", between very similar energy and seduction, I have to say that for the moment it has been won by the Albanian singer. Ronela has been able to entertain the public, be seductive and at the same time keep the song at excellent singing-interpretative levels. In Turin I expect that together with his dance company and a crazy staging Albania conquered the Top 10.
