Or the acceptance phase in which I finally realize that my friends and family were right and the ESC is indeed a fake political travesty that we should never participate in again.

And then to the depression phase realizing I wasted half of my life on Eurovision and knowing I will never enjoy it the same after this year.

Aaaand back to the angry phase while singing screaming pleur op dag dag.

What if EBU, in order to avoid Netherlands retiring, awards them a "Big 6" status permanently?

Doesn't fit our mentality and it wouldn't feel right as Ukraine and Poland have like twice our population. Like what's the argument at that point? Money talks? I thought the idea is to get away from that and let principles of freedom and equality do the talking.

I know the Dutch like free things, but this would NOT be an apology. This would just be a bribe.
