They should give Aiste a chance this year although I didn't like Melancolia last year.
She was robbed in 2008 when she lost by about 100 votes to Nomads in the Night. I think "Troy on Fire" would've been better but it also needed some work.
I so hope that we will see Lithuania in the top 5 soon! They and Portugal are the two countries I would like to see to do well next year!
Why not Ruta Sciogolevaite?! I loved "If I Ever Make You Cry" in 07, so maybe something like that, but of course even better!![]()
I also really liked the band "69 Danguje" in 2009 with their song "Meiles Simfonija". Though I liked their original performance before they decided to include a throwback to their celebrity dance competition.
Is it me, or Lithuania doesn't want to do well?![]()
I think this year they should just invite 10 composers to write songs for 10 singer/groups and hold a one-evening show to choose their song. Not that this is a formula for success but I just want to see if they are capable of choosing their song in one show as opposed to their usual marathon that doesn't really amount to much at ESC anyways.![]()
2 years ago Philip Kirkorov said that he would like to see Kristina Orbakayte representing Lithuania, this could be awesome choice.

I think 69 Danguje would be the best choicethey could do good with good and catchy song
The Head of Lithuanian delegation said that it's 90% likely that Lithuania will participate in ESC 2011.
They almost finished negotiating with a big sponsor.
Only Lithuanian citizens will be allowed to participate in the NF, also he urged performers to start preparing their songs already.
