2020 Bold Predictions

Starting this thread off for the 2020 contest - thought it might be fun to make some predictions before we even know the participants/songs, and see if our intuitions will come true! (The poll will close once we can hear the first songs of the season - when Albania's NF songs are released mid-November)

Here are a few of my own:

will finish bottom 5 (again)
At least one entry will feature some lyrics in an Asian language
will finish top 10
will qualify, but come mid-table
will be the best performing Big 5 country again
In the semis, we will see a country place 10th with both the juries and televote, but 11th overall and therefore fail to qualify.
's jury will rank second-last in the final rather than dead last, much to everyone's surprise
will send another fan favourite which flops
will win, but the winner will be one of RTVSLO's eight internally-chosen artists in EMA, rather than one of the artists participating in EMA Fresh.

will once again be ignored
will select some televote magnet
will be on the HYPE list if they managed to send Elvana
will be on the HYPE list but with the new direction they're having it could be another top 5 or out of top 10
managed to Q
will again select a generally unappealing entry
will qualify if they could manage to submit a jury-friendly entry
will do better than expected
will be on the HYPE list. I feel they'd select an amazing entry this year.

Oh, that sounds great, predicting something completely out of the blue!! My guesses:

will score well with the jurys but bomb even worse than 2018 in the televote

will be in the top 5 again and also the best performing country of the Big 5

will be the only country from the former Yugoslavians to qualify for the final

and will be fighting for last place

will have its best result ever

will end up second, making Hooverphonic the most successful Flemish act in history

and will both fail to qualify for the final

will win, with the next edition being held in Krakow

Honestly like the idea of winning. Would be interesting.

Well, since we only know two artists and no songs right now all predictions are kinda bold.

Aye, true. But going on history its easy to assume sweden and italy will do well, while the uk and spain will flop. No matter, you're probably right anyway.

Well,nothing lasts forever and everything can change. If someone would have told me in 2011 that would completely disappear fom the top ten and even fail to qualify for the final I would´ve burst into laugh.

Am I the only one who thinks this topic doesn't make much sense. Predictions? Predictions based on what? Previous experience of the countries? We don't know anything about esc 2020 except the fact its taking place in NED, that Bulgaria is coming back and that Sweden will finish in top 3 with hurries.
