Congratulations to the wonderful Rewşan Çeliker for winning the NF! Gulê // Gül // The Rose
And once again thanks to everyone who has voted in my NF, your contribution means a lot to me! The results were:1. 61 Doğu Anadolu: Rewşan - Gulê
2. 61 Ege: Perdenin Ardındakiler & Mark Eliyahu - Uzaklara Savrulalım
3. 55 Karadeniz: Eftalya Fettahoğlu Emirmiran - Adı İçin Yaşamak
4. 55 İç Anadolu: Beyza Doğuç - Acıtmıyor Sevdan
5. 53 Marmara: Emir Can İğrek - Muhalif
6. 51 Güneydoğu Anadolu: Sarya Ertaş & Welat Tayfur - Cembelî
7. 37 Akdeniz: Ahmet Ali Arslan & RC Singers - Biberonçini
As you can see, the results were pretty tight in the end. As this is my 40th Turkish entry in WV, I decided to give advantage to Rewşan as she is less known artist (I believe Uzaklara Savrulalım will be sent to other forum contests soon either by Turkey or Israel). Additional aspect that I found interesting is that I have been playing with Turkey in WV for more than 2.5 years and I have never sent a song in Kurdish, so making it happen now seemed as very appropriate and exciting!
Soon I will have a small announcement to make regarding my future in WV, but let's see what happens in the next few more days or a week.

Just bumping here to express gratitude to everyone who supported my Turkish entries in the past 2.5 years. WV helped me explore Turkish music scene from different points of view and I am so happy that thanks to being a juror here I could discover some amazing artists. I really tried going out of the box with my choices and I believe I have achieved it well. It was a long run of 40 participation (which equals my record with Serbia in the first 40 editions) and I am sure this will remain as my favorite period of playing in WV. Ending it with a top 10 result was definitely the cherry on the cake.
In these 40 editions I qualified 20 times (once again same as with Serbia) and I have managed to reach top 10 in 5 occasions:
4th - WV 134 // Nilüfer - Son Arzum
5th - WV 100 // Atiye - Abrakadabra
6th - WV 138 // Rewşan - Gulê
7th - WV 131 // Mustafa Avşaroğlu - I Lost Everything
8th - WV 125 // Soner Canözer ft. Budapest Symphony Orchestra - Gündönümü (Solstice)

helal ettim was my second 12 at this contest (the first being the 12 from semi 1 in wv 98)
