That first post tho, just noticed xheat

Yes thought It needed a bit of an update, and wanted to try the gif idea again. It's a shame the gif trashes the quality.

Hey Hey Hey! NBC Western USA clocking in with you all with an update on the upcoming edition of Worldvision. Unfortunately, Western USA will not be present. We will take a break and skip the trip to London. Reasons are mixed, partly due to feeling uninspired by current choices but mostly because our HoD is feeling burnt out from various other projects and life commitments. As such, we wont be voting in any current NFs and wish you all the best of luck. We'll be back for W142!

Another day and another update on upcoming edition of 'Western USA Song Contest'. Yesterday we learnt some details of the formatting the singers taking part, today the hosts and the venue!

Western USA, famous for going international for many of their entries to WV entries and a big fan of accidental eligibility has carried on the trend with an international star studded A-Lister hosting pair. Australian born Liam Hemsworth, will be joined on stage with Ukrainian born Mila Kunis. Both will present together the semi finals and then the grand final. Liam and Mila are both said to be very excited at the prospect of presenting WUSC and seeing the songs live on stage - wish all singers the best of luck.

Now of course we already know that this edition will be hosted in Seattle, Washington states largest city (after the Mimoza special of WUSC was recently hosted in Los Angeles), but to which arena are we going? and what will the stage look like?. Well a series of bids by various venues, big and small, indoor and outdoor were considered, including the huge Lumen Field. However with considerations for transportation, size and budget the Climate Pledge Arena has been chosen. The stage design, including big spanning LED screens that go up to the roof and across has been released below also. A greenroom room area will fill out the immediate front of the stage for the artists to sit in. It's expected the overall capacity will be around 15,000 - tickets will go no sale this evening with many being given away in various competitions and events taking place on radio stations across the Western USA region.

More news will come tomorrow, so keep watching this space!

Another day another dollar! With the stage being constructed at super speed we're have yet another day with some more news! This time we are here with the draw order for both semi finals.

Colombian born actress Sofia Vergara, hosted the draw order show that was aired online earlier today. As well as this, Sofia will be joining Liam and Mila in a minor hosting role for the semis and final from the greenroom - doing all that cringey akward interviews with the singers.

So how did the draw take place? Well we had 4 bowls. The first was the wildcard with every state in. Two would be drawn and win the wildcard of being able to choose their own running order position in Semi 1 & Semi 2. Washington was the first drawn and chose to close Semi 1, New Mexico drew next and was then also chose to close Semi 2. The other 3 bowls would decide the random draw for the rest. The first bowl contained the rest of the states, and then the other 2 contained a number for their running order position. The first state drawn would be assigned to semi 1, and then 2nd drawn would go to semi 2 - and then alternate back and forth between both semis. The first drawn was Arizona who then pulled a 3 from the semi 1 bowl, so will perform 3rd in semi 1 and then Hawaii was drawn 2nd which then pulled a 6 from the semi 2 bowl and will then perform 6th in semi 2 - and so on. Below is the final running order draw ahead of the semi final rehearsals due to start before the live shows.
