The casting of the Ukrainian spokesperson! LIVE on the 1st Channel. May 10, 16:35CET

19 people will compete for the right to announce Ukrainian votes @ ESC 2010.
The jury will choose the best one.
The show will remind a school exam. All competitors will have to choose a piece of paper with a question(s) beneath - like we do on exams
Also they are gonna compete in saying tongue-twisters and portraying animals (this one is rather for pure entertainment) :shock:

Also NTU will launch the new site on May 10

This lights are so strong and effective, the best part is around 1.minute when lights are in shape of waves So effective, this will take Ukraine to final 100%¨!!!

I was sure this would prove an amazing alternative to what we've had up to this point. I believe there'll be a lot of great staging, so I'm not absolutely sure this will ensure Ukraine a place in the final. The wave part is just SPECTACULAR.

Imho, comparing to 1st performances in the end of March - beginning of April she improved her vocals. She became more confident and her vocals became more stable and powerful. I like how she improvises almost in every performance.


Back to ESC performance

The costume: They will choose among 2 costumes. Long costume with a hood - it will be similar to the one she's been wearing in Chernobyl.
The other one (which will be chosen it seems) will be an "unexpected costume". She refused to tell more.
The stage presentation: "It will be such a trick that people won't believe that it's happening in the current moment. Specialists are thinking about it right now. I'm gonna do it myself but if I won't make it in time we will ask a specialist to assist me".

The video has been premiered on a closed event at some club on May 6.
The public release will happen next week 4sure



NTU will update its site tomorrow so maybe they would release the video there.

Tomorrow there will be "Good evening, Oslo!" (live) - spokesperson casting. 16:35CET.

^ they (invited guests) watch & discuss all ESC videos (5 videos per edition). They rate videos giving marks (from 1 to 5).
Every edition has different guests. We've already seen Ruslana with her husband, Yuriy Rybchinskiy, Star Factory 3 vocal coach, Anastasiya Pryhod'ko and the woman who wrote "Mamo", Masha Sobko (NF 2010 participant), Valid Arfush, Boris Bronstein (co-producer of Mogilevskaya and "Talant Group")... different people from the TV and radio.




I've just seen the spokesperson casting.
The results will be published tomorrow in the evening news. Televoters will pick the best candidate out of 7 people who were chosen by the jury. lulz, I laughed a lot during the show... I like how the main juror tried to create unexpected situations for competitors
I want Irina Zhuravs'ka to win, she's gorgeous Our previous spokesperson who's been also participating... she was a walking disaster, diiiva (with a horrible accent). Yuck.
