ONT refused from sending a girl band, the NF conception was changed!

There will be the NF in Belarus'.
Most likely the winner will be chosen on the new ONT show "Music Court".
They have already received 200 songs from Belorussian, Ukrainian, Russian and Dutch authors/performers.

25 songs have been selected for the 1st phase on the "Music Court". 5 songs per show.
10 songs will go to the final. 5 of them will be chosen by the jury the other 5 will be chosen by televoters.
On the 1st phase they will show/play the demo version of a song and then the studio version that was recorded in Belarus'.
The 1st phase starts in November.
The final of the 1st phase (the 1st semi-final) is December 26th, this is when the winner of the 1st semi will be chosen.
Of course they will introduce this system if they become EBU members.

One thing that confused me. She said that they plan to provide few semi-finals until May when all ESC songs have to be registered in the middle of March

I was gonna ask the same thing. Last year's song wasn't that good, but it grew on me after the show. There was an improvement from the very first listening of the song to the live performance in Moscow.

^ Yep, she said that she will try again.
After she b-tched with Belorussian broadcaster, she can try on ONT but I doubt that she has high chances there as well.
As long as she presents a gr8 song I don't mind.

All 5 preliminary rounds on ONT have been already pre-recorded!

Pyotr Yelfimov and Gyunesh were in the jury :shock:

All performers signed a contract, the copyright belongs to ONT so you won't hear any songs before ONT airs them.

It seems that they've already chosen the song but they have to make a show for people.
Hmmm. No comments. As always Belarus is hosting a "typical" selection. I predict few scandals because of that. As always


All songs have to be only in 3 languages: English, Belorussian or Russian

The jury chooses 1 song per 1 show.
The televoters choose 1 song (during 1 week) per 1 show.
So in the final there will be 10 songs.
The final voting will be for free, but only during 10 minutes. Every Belorussian administrative district will announce its votes (just like on MF). Actually they will reveal only 3 best songs. So all these votes will be combined together and we'll find out the winner. Not a single word about the jury's vote in the final so I assume everything will be up to televoters.

I guess we will find out the ESC song/entry in February, maybe even in January because the 5th semi ends in the end of December.


The 1st semi final begins this Friday.
I couldn't find the on-line link
I hope that the final will be broadcasted on both channels coz BTV has on-line stream at least :|

Nope, this channel doesn't broadcast live
They used to broadcast football games live but only for Belorussians. Right now there's no web stream, not even a "pirate" one =/

The show starts at 21:05 (20:05CET).
I hope that it would work, though it seems like an ordinary .flv vid, the video from their site called "behind the stage"... *fingers crossed*.

ok, he said that he hasn't liked anything by far (he's a Gyunesh fan btw).

ps. It seems that they will choose the song on December 27th, the performer will be chosen later.


edit: The jury chose a ballad "Milaya".
I hope that the video will be available @ YT.
My friend hasn't been in the I-net since then... probably he was shocked :|
According to rules televoters have to vote for the rest 4 songs during the next week. We will find out their choice on the next Friday.

:roll: Nobody? Beause they choose a song first? And performer next year?
All songs are sang by invited people from "The New Voices of Belarus'" project.
When ONT becomes a EBU member in a few weeks we will find out how they will choose the performer.
