This song is actually still going on Norwegian radio. I hear it pretty much every day at work, and it's the only ESC song I've heard on radio the past 3-4 months... Even tho I didn't really like it that much at the time of ESC, I've realized later that it deserved to be 2nd.

I remember disliking this song a lot. However, when I heard it here in one of the bars I started to like it (it must have been the wine or the beer, or whatever I had that day ). I still don't think it deserved a second place, probably a top 10. Euroband had a much better song and they only ended 14th. :shock:

The performance was great, but i still can't see a reason for SUCH good result. I still find it pretty bland and boring

Iceland used to have much better songs than this one

I agree! Only this decade I prefer 2000, 2003, maybe 2004, 2005, 2006, maybe 2007 and 2008. Only 2001 is worse. :?

I agree too, except for 2006. :shock: She should have ended last with that coco jumbo from Monaco, the fashion doomsday from Andorra, the Portuguese wtf and the national football cheerleading sqaud from Lithuania.
And their 2007 wasn't that great either. The others you said were pretty good. Iceland should send another "Eurobandid" song!

This is the 1st ESC when I agree with the 1st and the 2nd places :shock:

I disliked it after the NF, I thought it was boring but the final performance was stunning Her vocals were gr8, I like how they used background screens + it's a grower so currently it's #2 in my personal top-10.

We had a really big discussion about that with my friends while watching. I think this song was better than Fairytale and even if it won the difference shouldn't have been that much. I think it was because everyone thought he was so cute.

I like this one. I had bet money on her to end up with a top 3 placing - although I didn't really expect it,so when it actually happened,I was delighted.
I was happy for Iceland too.

Yohanna enjoyed a sizeable hit after coming second with Is It True? for Iceland in 2009. The single charged into the top 20 of no fewer than 8 territories and her album Butterflies and Elvis finally managed to get an international release. She hopes to replicate the success with her newest single, released just in time for Christmas.
