Now that I think of it, you're right, it does not make sense in the final. But in the semifinals, yes.

I think one reason songs like this year's Australia and Azerbaijan get a low televote score is that voters know these songs will get a massive jury vote regardless. So they will save the televotes for entries that need them more to balance with the jury vote.

I wonder if the political comment from Kalush after their performance was the reason they were not interviewed later during the show anymore 🤔

I think so too - it's very fitting to the lyrics. Reminds me of what it's like north of the polar circle in the wintertime, watching the very brief moment of sun appearing in horizon. I just loved this atmospheric lighting and sound ❤
