Agreed. + it distracts viewers from the catchiest and most important buildup moment of the entire song, the "I hope I hope" part.

The more songs are released, the more clear it becomes that it's a good standout and Estonia might get another top 10 result :) will easily qualify like Victor Crone did and the contest is not looking as strong as 2019.

Why hasn't BBC still not asked Hurts? The band has publicly expressed their interest for years. They would be a great jury bait and potentially do well with televotes too :unsure: But watch them choose something tacky like Frock Destroyers instead, it's very likely after the 0 point thing.

What is especially fishy is how Moldova scored all those televoting 12s in the semi. Latvia and Estonia gave 12 to them on Thursday then 0 just two days later? Makes no sense.

I think Eric Saade would have done really well, perhaps another top 3 result. We lacked a basic radio bop this year and his song would have easily stood out and done it. :unsure: edit: also his dark minimalistic staging would have stood out like Euphoria did between all the pink and purple LED...

I don't think there's any point in trying to find reasons why it didn't qualify. If a song gets such a low score from juries, it's not gonna do any better with a better staging or vocals etc. People love nostalgic songs, juries hate them. The only way to "fix it" is to lower the impact of...

I think My Last Breath would have at least scored points with juries. Embers was a much better song but completely lifeless live.
