EBU has no right to say anything about culture and political oppression if they're perfectly happy with having Azerbaijan and Armenia in the contest. I doubt that Kazakhstan is less "European" than Azerbaijan is.

Is this contest really going to happen? I mean it's scheduled for this year, but there's still no host. Doesn't it take time to prepare such an event? I'm afraid that even if it does happen, the number of competing countries will be very low due to many of them being poor and/or their culture...

I'm late, but whatever. Big congrats to Portugal! In the past songs like this usually didn't qualify from the semis. And in Portuguese too. Amazing!
