It wasn't the entry I intended to send, but as Polo & Pan were already taken for this edition, a change of plans was needed.
So here is a little atmospheric track with ethnic elements, not as strong as my initial entry but a good replacement nonetheless.

We're kicking off for a totally different genre in NSC 195 with Les Cowboys fringants, country/folk group created in 1997. Despite having quite a good success, I only discovered them in August 2019 thanks to someone who helped me more than he thinks. I always knew I would send them to NSC as they manage to always give me this nostalgic feeling.
The song is pretty much decided and it won't be one of their most known hits. Hint for those who know them : it's from the Octobre album (2015)

Ahaha, je comprends totalement En fait, je prête bien plus attention à l'atmosphère générale qu'aux paroles ou à la complexité de la partie instrumentale, et lorsque ces chansons sont en français je peux être touchée par des tmorceaux qui me saouleraient dans n'importe quelle autre langue. Ca doit réveiller mon côté émotif Mais voilà ce qui explique pourquoi je suis ouverte à des trucs gentillets, comme le dit si bien ma mère lol.

Je comprends totalement. Et je ne voulais pas dénigrer tes goûts musicaux, loin de là. Moi-même j'écoute des choses terribles (voir la moitié de mes propositions à NSC... ). Mais les Cowboys, j'aime bien chialer quand j'entends parler d'eux. C'est un réflexe. Je les trouve pas si terribles en fait, c'est presqu'un running gag... Bref....

Je ne participerai pas à la mêlée car je ne connais pas ce groupe (juste de nom), donc découverte en perspective en ce qui me concerne. En tout cas, Miss j'apprécie que ton choix se soit porté sur une chanson moins "évidente" que leurs tubes. Je n'ai rien contre les gros succès des artistes, mais c'est toujours intéressant de mettre en lumière un single qui a fait moins de bruit ou une piste d'album tout simplement.

Le teasing commence tôt, dis donc Bonne chance pour la prochaine édition.

I decided to go back to Japan this edition with an artist I sent in WV for a few months ago. The song was in my YT recommendations, and while I find Inochi no Tabekata more interesting, I appreciate the soothing and hopeful atmosphere Yuseiboushi provides.
