There is no UK withdrawing. Just the BBC giving up their broadcasting rights for the contest which is unlikely. ITV will end up taking it up as they are also an EBU broadcaster.

A NF will work however it needs to be a wide range of different music. Needs more than 6 songs. 12 minimum. The reason for this is that we need to see which song is able to stand out in a packed field. 6 just isn’t enough.

BBC most likely benefited from it getting nil pui. I imagine the ratings spiked during the voting. So nothing will change regarding it. They will now aim to keep on getting nil puis until the EBU do something about it (which they won’t because the BBC bring in too much money).
