Yes, there are experts in every field. They are trained at what they do and devote their lives for to it. As far as them being "random"...you act like they went to a park and gave 5 people a golden ticket to the jury or something. So YES, these people ARE more expert than some of us!

I was kidding...I was just saying that Armenia is awesome and is sure to do well 'even though' their song is ethno-influenced. ...and no. I think Russia getting in is a very unfunny joke and Belarus' song is rediculous (only after having to read the lyrics since their accent is so bad).

Quit saying that! It makes you sound ignorant! American Idol is comprised of UNKNOWN singers singing KNOWN songs. This competition is completely different. And yes...Flavoring your song always screws you up with the juries. Just ask Armenia after the show on thursday. They'll really regret it!
