Everyone has different taste. No judgement on you hating it from me. I think this song will be one of those rare ones that makes people go "woah" or "I love it" or just "this is noise". But it will have a 50/50 split. So some will love it and some hate it. Which could be a good thing
Dark horses - These could all end up in the top ten if things go right for them on stage and with the televote (or more jury for UK though). Despite them being divisive amongst online fans on placing. Ireland and the UK both have excellent live performers too which is a big help. Finland has the...
Apparently this is the revamped song. Bambie hasn't released it directly themselves but this is apparently the version on the eurovision 2024 album.
I love it. I usually hate our entries so that says a lot, if we get out of the semi (the real fight), I'd say bambie could go top 10. This hits...
Ireland is not a Catholic country anymore. We are secular and extremely liberal and progressive. It's not 1992. Most irish under 50 aren't religious at all. Ireland identifies as Catholic only in a historical sense vs British Protestantism. Its used a a cultural identity not a belief system. We...
I
It's not a troll song. Listen to it on Spotify. The late late show with its 60 year old studio and awful sound mixing made it awful. She'd a good vocalist usually.
If this is a troll song so was Lordi and Kaarija
Go Tobann was the safer of the two experimental songs. I agree her teen J pop style voice was her big mistake. But i am starting feel Bambie being even more of a risk will pay off.
I think it will be. But the issue is crazy on the late late doesn't work well as its intended for a solo act at a standing microphone haha. It could work in a massive high budget arena
This could do well. Another boyband would be bottom of the semi table like last year. Boybands are so 00s or early 2010s. Unless they are unique which they rarely are. The boyband era will return but not for at least another half decade I'd say. It's been dead since 2016/2017.
I'm irish and usually hate our acts. I liked Brooke as she was hilarious and had a great presence. But I have high hopes for this. A great song. Very different and experimental music like this has dedicated fans.
Bambie is a great performer. You can look her up online. She also has a fairly...
People need to stop being harsh on vocals here. They had to perform in a 60 year old talk show studio with terrible acoustics and mic technology that wouldn't be used by any other broadcaster in Western eurooe. RTE cheaped out again as they are financial a mess (its a big scandal in ireland)...
Just a reminder to all in England, Scotland and Wales. Since Northern Ireland can vote and has a UK number you guys can also vote for your favourites Friday night. Basically this is me pleading with our friends in Britain to help us get either Ailsha or Bambie Thug through haha
The over 50s and...
Yup. Most UK TV is available here. We get BBC 1,2,3,4 and Channel 4, ITV etc. All UK based channels. But they are free to air here too. This is primarily down to Northern Ireland being part of the UK, so geographically we get access. Also we speak the same language and have very similar cultures...
It would be absolutely hilarious if despite RTEs best efforts we actually pull off a great song this year (against their intentions) and win. They'd have to host in 2025 with the pressure of the public and government on them considering the millions they've been conning the tax payer out of for...
RTE making DWTS is just a joke. Cancel that show already. Its cringe and can't compare to the UK version (strictly come dancing). Many irish go on the UK version as it is. Same with when we had the Voice Ireland and the good singers went on the Voice UK.
RTE could really make a quality...
