As much as I like Lena and Satellite, I think it might not be the very best of ideas for a lot of different reasons: 1. Lena already had her chance, used it excellent and now has quite a bit of fame across Europe. So, give the same chance to another artist. Lena will (hpefully) not need that...

I just think some people see Greece as "Western" because it quickly bacame a NATO member after WWII. And if you want to divide between eastern and western in the sense of the cold-war-era, than greece is considered a (geopolitical seen) western country. However, those times are over for 20 years...

Besides my passion for Metal, I quite like myself a bit of Dark Wave, Ambient or Minimal electro. I would for sure like to see such an act at the ESC. But I think that most artists in those genres would not be very interested to participate, second they would very likely not qualify in national...

Yeah, they were second to Max Mutzke in the NF back then. I think they might have placed around the same as Max, considering they had (still have?) quite some fans around different countries in Europe. However, it is also possible that it would have ended in (another) disaster. At least...

And how they sucked! :shock: I can still remember that they were just as bad in the national finals back then. I can't really remember who competed against them in the NFs, but I CAN remember that I prefered every other act over them. But what can you do. They had by far the biggest fanbase...

I think this was one fantastic ESC, and I would say the same if we wouldn't have finished as the winner. There are 3 things I really, really liked: - The actual songs that ended up high: I am extremely pleased, that a lot of the top 10 songs aren't your typical ESC songs. No typical Eurodance...

I'm not sure if basher was talking about Lena this year, and more about maybe the No Angels, who really were an estabslished act when they competed for Germany. Of course I don't know if they were really successful outside of the German-speaking countries, cause I never really liked them and...

I just have to jump in here and support you guys. Although I really, really don't like Norway's song (sleep inducing and in general absolutely not my taste) I agree that Didrik is an excellent singer and delivered a good (not outstanding) vocal performance yesterday evening. 8-)
