Today is Greece's 50th anniversary in the Eurovision Song Contest. :) On a personal note, the 50th participation anniversary of a country I fell deeply in love with 18 years ago also thanks to Eurovision. So I guess it's a... Happy Birthday Greece! (Και ένα "χρόνια πολλά" από μένα ;))

I visited the island only once, so I cannot criticise Cretans, but Greek drivers do suck. As a pedestrian I always try to do my my best to educate them by pointing at the green light and addressing them very politely "Πράσινο ρε μαλάκα" whenever I nearly get killed. :mrgreen: But it's so nice...

Excuse me, but in my humble opinion even the Police and Marina are helpless in the case of Greek drivers. I know what I am talking about. :mrgreen:

It's such a shame that such a wonderful country, with a rich culture and awesome artists, does the same thing over and over again. Well, I'll be happy when it qualifies because it's Cyprus, but... it's not what I really wanted.

Oh really? Belgium or France? :eek: Are there any statistics to prove it? Not in an offensive way, I'm just curious because I would never predict them...
