omg I think I was wrong :lol: The Hydro has deleted all events from the website that were due to take place in April and May, including Andre Rieu on the 27th which might hint at certain dates..

We were confirmed as the host country two months after the contest yet we’re still announcing the host city earlier than Turin (ok only by one day but still :LOL:)

It’ll be announced at 7pm on Friday on The One Show.

I‘m 99% sure it’s Liverpool at this point.

A bit sad Manchester didn’t get it, but the new arena opens next year which would be much more suited to host the contest, and also has a 23k capacity. It’d be a perfect venue if we win in the next few years!

Well I had a lovely long weekend in Glasgow over Easter and didn’t get shot or stabbed so I think people will be fine!

Weren’t you supporting London earlier in the thread? Certainly never any crime there is there.

Another announcement coming later today. I’d imagine they’re announcing the final two with the winning bid being revealed on Friday.

The main issue I’ve seen against Manchester is that there’s a lack of space for the press centre. There’s both the Stoller Hall and New Century Hall within about a two minute walk from the arena, so I think it’s very much still in the mix when it comes to that. I’ve also seen some comments...
