Honestly, I don't know if it's because I'm non European, or because I'm getting older, but I have found a constant disjoint this season: a lot of the the big favorites are getting kinda from meh to bad from me, and this one who has been receiving criticism...
...I dig it. A LOT. I really like...
I wasn't a big fan of this song at first, but something just "clicked" on the live performances. Noa is AMAZING on stage, and if there was going to be a surprise winner, it was likely to be her.
In the end that didn't happen, but 3rd place is still a pretty damn good result and completely deserved.
I'm Mexican, I understood the lyrics, and while I like it, I never believed the bubble. Spanish fans thinking this could be a contender to win. A low top 10 AT BEST, and that didn't happen.
If anything, I'm surprised it got as much points as it did by the juries.
Spain needs to focus and keep...
Portugal is always so underrated. Portugal is like that girl all boybands write songs about how beautiful and special she is, "but she doesn't even know it".
And this time is no exception.
This is a delightful surprise and a breath of fresh air! Dramatic without being too serious, and funny...
I... don't hate this.
It does have a indie rock/power pop from the late 90's or early 2000's and I grew up with that so I'm very biased for this sound.
Honestly? Some say is a li'l disjointed, but I actually think it's well-crafted and put together.
Can't say it's my favorite now, but I've...
Honestly? This is my first 12 points. It's both hard but vulnerable, IDK, maybe I'm projecting too much, but while they lyrics aren't exactly Joni Mitchell quality, by Eurovision standard they might as well be.
This, this how you make a hard rock song but that still has a melody.
What I kinda love of this Eurovision edition is that we're seeing all kinds of bad: The so bad it's good, the bad that is like an agression to the senses, the so bland it would actually be better if it was a li'l worse, and now the one that doesn't even sound professional.
This is like the good version of what Bulgaria attempted last year.
Well produced, it does have a very chill vibe, almost like a song that always existed. Don't know if my favorite, but between this, Norway and Spain, a VERY NEEDED improvement.
