I suggest taking the CET out of the countdown banner since the countdown points out to CEST only and not everyone thinks CET = CEST
I will have to skip so good luck with hosting anyway :)
::tan is also taking a break for next edition, and I would love to say it's because of ESC but it's mainly because of academic affairs (aka I'm late with my dissertation 🤡 and I need extra time to catch up before ESC)
See you in 229 and see some of you at Malmö hopefully xcheer
Yeah, I am a tad confused. How would people know that the interpretation here would be CET = CEST? Especially when 1. There are people not from Europe 2. There are newcomers who wouldn't know this is a normal interpretation.
Anyway. My semi 2 votes while it is not fixed:

I think back when there used to have DST in Brazil, they would still say Brasília Time, and then it was up to people to figure out whether their state adopted the DST or not (mine didn't, so we were always behind an hour compared to Brasília).
Just something. CET for me is UTC+1. CEST is UTC+2 (and I imagine it's the same for people who do not live in Europe). If a deadline is set to CET I will think of UTC+1, not CEST/UTC+2. Soooo uhhh no, not the same, really.
They knew this could happen once they decided to keep Israel in the competition. If they truly cared about the artists, they would have acted long ago.
