The idea of jury isn't good. Bloc voting is still alive (Turkey-Azerbaijan, Greece-Cyprus, Scandinavian countries). You can give the money to jury and they'll give you the points.

You'd think the way everyone was going on every Eastern country finished higher than every Western country.

Azerbaijan is an Eastern country and the UK is Western. First got 1st place, second - 11th. And what about Hungary, France, Russia, Estonia, Sweden, Austria and Switxerland? They really deserved to be in top 10/

BTW, don't you think that 2011 voting was the most boring voting ever?

what do you want juries to do?

only vote for the western countries?

Vote for the talents. Do you remember why the jury voting was cancelled at the beginning of millenium?
Viewers chose very good winners: Sertab Erener, Ruslana, Lordi, Paparizou, Bilan, Serifovic, Rybak.

First of all: you don't know how the jury voted, I'm sure France will be in top 10 within juries
Second: juries must vote for the songs they like and for songs they think would do good in their country
Third: as well as Alexander Rybak as Lena are chosen first by televoting and juries...

Sweden did finish in top 10...
And so did other western countries Germany Ireland and Denmark. And 5 of the bottom 10 were eastern countries.

I don't like juries because they are there ONLY to stop block voting and Diaspora voting and I think they managed that BUT they also rate the vocal performance and the quality of the songs wich they shouldn't do!

:? What? So they should only vote for the songs that end up bottom of Eastern televoting results? Weird...
