Performed by: Loreen
Lyrics by: Thomas G:son, Peter Boström
Composed by: Thomas G:son, Peter Boström
Language: English

Why,
Why can't this moment last forever more
Tonight,
Tonight eternity's an open door
No
Don't ever stop doing the things you do
Don't go
In every breath I take I'm breathing you

Euphoria
Forever, ‘til the end of time
From now on, only you and I
We’re going u-u-u-u-u-u-up

Euphoria
An everlasting piece of art
A beating love within my heart
We’re going u-u-u-u-u-u-up

We are here
We are alone in our own universe
We are free
Where everything's aloud and love comes first
Forever and ever together
We sail into infinity
We're higher and higher and higher
We're reaching for divinity

Euphoria
Forever, ‘til the end of time
From now on, only you and I
We’re going u-u-u-u-u-u-up

Euphoria
An everlasting piece of art
A beating love within my heart
We’re going u-u-u-u-u-u-up

Forever
We sail into infinity
We're higher
We're reaching for divinity

Euphoria
Euphoria
We’re going u-u-u-u-u-u-up

Euphoria
An everlasting piece of art
A beating love within my heart
We’re going u-u-u-u-u-u-up

Euphoria

Euphoria

We’re going u-u-u-u-u-u-up

Re: SWEDEN 2012

My wish list (it won't happen though):

September (known internationally for songs like "Cry for me" and "Satellites".

Veronica Maggio

Amanda Jenssen

Melissa Horn

Oskar Linnros

But for sure Melodifestivalen will be just as crappy as usual and unrepresentative of what is ACTUALLY popular Swedish music and artists!

and more:

Swedish House Mafia

Timoteij (more or less the only former MF participant I'd like to see again in MF, they deserved a win in 2010)

Actually MF as it is today is almost a mockery of Swedish contemporary music. Actually schlager and most of the artists you see in MF is not even that popular, without MF they would have no career almost.

Re: SWEDEN 2012

Linda Bengtzing, Linda Pritchard, Alcazar, Mans Zelmerlow

That's pretty much a list of who i DON'T want to see the next year.... though most of the once you mentioned already stated they'll never be in it again, anyway.

As for who i want to see, i think Movits could pull off a really good number:

Haha same here! But on the other hand they always state that and then they enter anyways. I'd like to see Timoteij again though because Sweden needs some folk-pop finally. If Greece and Turkey are allowed to send that, so is Sweden!

As long as MF will be contest for Christer Björkman's friends we'll see the same old faces and especially the same old AWFUL songwriters/composers every single year though.

It's so sad because in here people truly think what's in MF is representative for our contemporary music.. well it's not. The MF acts are often desperate acts that would have no career outside of MF, especially most of the songwriters which no actual popular contemporary act would ever work with.

Also one can just look at the popularity of our MF acts, their only hits are the ones they entered in MF while most fail with their follow up singles.

Alcazar
Sanna Nielsen
Linda Bengtzing

Give those 3 a chance and then I don't care!

Seriously Sweden got soo much acts that never took part in MF.

As much as I love Linda B, these 3 are some of the most tiring imo.

I actually think they need to re-consider the whole concept till next year. MF is way too long for its own good, they should ban Christer Björkman's friends (Kempe, G:son).. not until they do some major chances will we see some actual great Swedish music on there.

Re: SWEDEN 2012

I'm a big fan of folkpop/etno so I'd love to see Sarek, Timoteij or Nordman back! For newcomers, Sofia Karlsson or Lena Willemark would be fantastic. Or why not Sofia Jannok - have our first entry in Sami!

Re: SWEDEN 2012

@A-lister Well they keep coming back coz they never got a chance! Linda should have won in 2006 (well I wish she sang Jag Ljuger Så Bra another year coz Carola did a great job) or this year, Sanna should have won in 2008, Alcazar should have won in 2009.

And I forgot Velvet! All her Mello songs weren't exactly her style but I'd love something like Chemistry or Dancing With Tears In My Eyes (I think that's my fav!). Anyway, it seems that some artists are trying to adjust their songs so they can fit with the Melodifestivalen concept...

People still think that here, despite you and others constantly bringing it up? ;)

Melodifestivalen has almost never been representative for our contemporary music. Apart from a few really big names like ABBA, Ted Gärdestad, Tomas Ledin, Björn Skifs, Monica Zetterlund (etc etc) it's almost always consisted of the same typical schlager songs performed by the same typical schlager artists who never had any life outside of the contest. And this goes back to the '60s.

I'm not saying we shouldn't change this, but it's hardly a Christer Björkman-only phenomenon.

Re: SWEDEN 2012

I have some requests:

Please send someone as cute as Eric, but with actual singing abilities and a meaningful song. This time it was like Rebecca Black's "Friday".
